Hastings School is a public English-Language school that follows the regular Ministry-proscribed curriculum for elementary and junior high students. Students are taught basic French, in accordance with Louis Riel policy. Music is offered from Kindergarten until Grade 5. Band or Art is offered for Grades 6-8.But Grade 6 students must take band. All students take Physical Education classes. In addition, students in Grades 7-8 are offered Industrial Arts and Home Economics classes as part of the regular schedule.
